Lalenok United FC, the first professional football club in Timor-Leste, has been making waves in the country’s sports scene since its establishment in 2019. With a mission to inspire and unite the nation through football, the club has not only been successful on the field but also off the field as well.
As we continue to celebrate the club’s achievements, we had the opportunity to sit down with the captains of Lalenok United FC and get to know them on a deeper level. These courageous leaders have not only led their team to victory but have also become role models for the youth of Timor-Leste.
In our exclusive interviews, we spoke to the current captain, Pedro Dos Santos, and the former captain, Jose Maria De Araujo, about their journey with Lalenok United FC and their views on the future of football in Timor-Leste.
